UPGRADE YOUR SALAD!

MY 3 FAVE SALAD DRESSINGS

As Beyonce says, Let me upgrade you! Your salad game that is, with some flavor-fuel homemade dressings. Homemade salad dressings are super simple, easy and most of all, you won’t be fooled with preservatives, 20 letter long ingredients you have no idea how to pronounce. Who’s up for an upgraded nutritional profile too?

It might seem tedious to make your own salad dressing, but seriously for the ones below just throw all the ingredients in a jar and shake or whisk. Once you know the basics, your creativity will wonder (well, maybe that’s just me).

BENEFITS

  • No refined oil (Soybean, canola, etc. Even organic brands sneak these in to cut cost)
  • No refined sugar
  • Control your calories
  • Less sodium
  • get rid of a ton of chemicals, additives, and other artificial ingredients that shouldn’t be in your food. Instead of using salt or sugar to flavor your dressing, you can now use real ingredients like lemon, lime, herbs, and different kinds of oil to create a unique salad
  • Saves Money
  • Better taste
